Beasties

Just as wild foods don’t only include plants and fungi, foraging doesn’t have to be a vegetarian pursuit. Galloway is hoaching with delicious fish and game and although its not yet part of GWF’s scope to cover shooting and fishing, there are plenty of animate delicacies that can be harvested benignly – shellfish and roadkill in particular. This section is intended to introduce some of the tasty creatures you can gather for free.
